Now read on to know about this trip.
8:15 A:.M --> My mum and me waiting at our pick up point. For all our luck, it was raining that day and was super chill. Me as usalu packed like an Eskimo, mum as usual, dare to face the cold types. Our pick up was scheduled between 8:15 to 8:30 A:M. But little did i know that meant a long wait....
8:30 A:M --> Frantically I'm pacing in front of the petrol bunk... Damn, why hasn't this bus come???? I see no sign of it....
8:45 A:M --> My phone beeps with a message from my colleague that the bus hasn't started from office yet. Wow!!! Office is like an hour's journey from my pick point minus the traffic and peak hour jams.
9:00 A:M --> I sigh and sit on some stone. Shit man, don't they have anything called time sense... Or all their clocks frozen. Gosh, it's so darned cold...
9:15 A:M --> My cribbin knew no bounds. My mum has oodles of patience, I don't even have an iota of it and damn who the hell likes waiting.. Not even for my hubby would I wait I guess....(Or you never know...:)
9:30 A:M --> Still no sign. I pulled out a Kit - Kat and passed it on to my mum. Both of us were experiencing butterflies of different versions inside our tummies....
9:45 A:M --> Is the bus ever going to arrive?? My mum was also kind off getting irky by now... It was almost an hour and a half and still there was no sign....
10:00 A:M --> Finally after walking a few mts away, we boarded the bus....I mean it was awesome. The leg space was unbeleivable. I could stretch my legs without an obstacle.....It felt so good getting a bus for a long distance travel which I never do....
10:05 A:M --> My colleague had reserved our seats. I sat next to her and mum on the other side....Atlast we had started...
11:30 A:M --> There were African Elephants in all our tummies...Finally they stopped at this brilliant place which was a temple - cum - park. There was Lord Krishna, Lord Ganesh & Lord Hanuman. Huge structures of these God's were erected and it was brilliant. It was splendid a place. There was this rally cute stray duck next to me. It was so cute. Finallly, after my photo session (My new interest these days is Photography, so was honing my just acquired nascent skills......), I finished my breakfast which consisted of my FAV - UPMA and other not so interesting things.
1:00 P:M --> We finally reached our destination and got dwon form our buses.
1:05 P;M --> Here comes the ultimate touch.. We are supposed to cross the water and how are we doing it?? We have to sit in something called a "THEPPA"...Man, it was ht first n one of it'd kind experience for both my mum and I. We finally managed to get into the wobbly thing and sat. There was 3 more people along with us. The guy with his oar started rowing. It was such a mind blowing feeling. I think everyone should try this old age-modern adaptation technique, it feels over the top.
1:07 P:M --> The so called rotating tranformer brought us near the rocks, from there we had to wade in water. The water was till my knee level. We all took out our shoes and started walking in water. That is when it dawned on me that I have this mistaken notion that I walk fast. the actual test is I guess when you walk in water. I feel I'm walking but I'm still there itself...There I see my mum walkin as if its a paved road....
1:10 P:M --> I finally reached the shore types... From there we trekked a wee bit and reached a flat surface. We spread our mats there and arranged food... We started playing games....
3:00 P:M --> Smashing food was served. We were all ravenous. Had a great time eating.
4:00 P:M --> We had some official game.
4:15 P:M --> Headed back to water and played. Landed up collecting pretty shells.
5:15 P:M --> Back in the THEPPA.... It felt so good again....
6:00 P:M --> We boarded the bus ad took our respective seats. Started on our journey back..
9:00 P:M --> Alighted the bus and started home.
This was the most amazing official trip I had been too. The memories are worth a lifetime....
