ROUTE TO THE CANAL

Root - Route Canal.... I'm not sure if most of you are familiar with this painful word... But i'm sure ons lucky lass to get acquainted with this very fortunate treatment way back in my class XII... Oh!! indeed lucky right?? Well, let me go ahead with that wonderful experience of mine...

Class XII, the most important year.. Turning point in one's life.. Indeed what a turning point in my tooth's life.. Turn, tossed & drilled around... Of course moulding required.. Not for me but for my tooth...

Now coming back to my poor, damaged tooth which needed a new shield... Why the shield was required??? Way back in class VI, my neighbour had opened the window on my face, when I was peering to see the new born baby in their house.. So, owing my shield tribute to her.....So here I was, much to my discomfort seated in front of my dentist with my mum beside me... Gosh !! How I hated being there... All those wierd instruments tossing & turning in my poor mouth which had to be open like a crocodile's mouth....Jeezzz.... People feel I have a big mouth, but my dentist agrees to disagree....Anyways, there I was half sleeping & opening my mouth to the utmost.... Elasticity test, trying to be successful...

After a long & horrendous half hour, my dentist's verdict was out... My tooth needed a R.C... I was wondering what on earth did this new acronym mean... With a little bit of racking, I figured it out... The most dreaded dental treatment of all times - ROOT CANAL urf R.C....Now I was in with great luck....

There started on with my treatment... Seemed endless...The awful drilling... Poor tooth.. The painful injections... Man, I almost touched the doors to HELL but was back because of its crowd....

Back to my amazing expedition... After all those horrid instruments poking my tooth, actually poor tooth, here I was thanking my mentor for her great deed.....

The most horrible part was yet to come... They place this horrible , awful, detesful thing in your mouth filled with a semi-solid green stuff... Oh God!!! Actually you find it difficult to breath also... That darned thing is used to take your teeth measurements....Man, where is TECHNOLOGY now?? Not applicable to the DENTAL INDUSTRY is it???

Then after the R.C is done, you realise, all that is left out is a wee-bit of your tooth/teeth reminants... For old times sake....Loveaduck!!! A brand new shining cap is fitted, making all the other teeth overflow with green jealousy.....Poor set... This brand new one, OUTSTANDING, by all means brims with happiness for a short while... Then its back to being in sync with the rest STANDING OUT.....After all that torture, finally, I had my new too tooth....

Not enough to experience this, I had 2 more done in my Engineering days......Those experiences were not the Fresher ones... So not required....

I stop at a cap now.... Caps are not required....
