It's been so long since I picked up a comic. But yesterday, I happened to get a comic - TinTin - the Calculus Affair.
I cannot begin to describe the joy of reading a comic. It felt so nostalgic to hold a comic in my hand, it felt I was back in time during my school days.
Now that I have started reading comics, I would read a few more before to quench this thirst for the time being.
Cheers to Comics!!
Sometime back I had been invited to my bestie's place for lunch. As I sat talking to her kids, the older one wanted me to color with her. Since the curiosity got the better out of me, i agreed. She got a Mandala coloring book for adults and got her mandala book for kids and sat down. I was very excited.
I have always enjoyed making mandalas, but my Mandalas aren't colored at all. I like it black and white. But this mandala done by someone was to be colored. So I sat down to color and I can't describe how much I enjoyed it.

Some of us don't enjoy Train Rides, some of us do love them. I belong to the later category. I do love train rides, though not more than 10 or 12 hours. I cannot go more that in the train.
But two days ago, I took a train to Chennai. The morning Shatabdi - 6:00 A.M. There is some joy in the early morning hours - fresh air, no pollution, no traffic and some serenity around. I admit, I love it.
As I hopped on the train at 5:30 A.M, my joy knew no bounds. The train started at 6 on the dot. Those five hours to Chennai felt so relaxing. A book in hand, music in my ears and five hours of bliss.
Look forward to the next time and the feeling will just be the same!

Cab Pool - Is something I have never done. I take the cabs but never a share. Yesterday, I had gone out and my friend suggested I do cab sharing. So, I decided to take it up. The cab got booked and I took the ride.
It was a long distance and there was one guy already sitting. I sat in the front and started chatting with the driver. (Yes, I talk to all!!) This guy was such a good guy that the whole ride felt so pleasant. We picked up another guy and then no more. The other two got dropped of before me and I was the last drop - off. The entire journey that lasted close to 40 mins was amazingly pleasant and smooth.
Now when you think, it's the drivers who either make the journey smooth or not so nice. A good driver actually makes a difference to that journey!

The last time we all caught up was in the year 2009. Yes, we all caught up again in 2019. A decade later.
So yesterday, we all spent a fine evening at Starbucks, chatting none to a dozen. We had so many topics to talk about and there wasn't a dull moment. We spoke from Technology to Weather. A good catch up walking down memory lane.
