SWAY ALONG

This blog of mine dates back to my Junior School Days.

English classes were a pure delight. I used to love them. At school, apparently we used to have POETRY RECITATION. Learning those poems by- heart used to be an amazing task. I used to wait for them eagerly. My Maa'm had to get impressed, that was my motto then.

Different poems, Solitude Reaper is the only title I can remember. But poets, Keats, Wordsworth are the few I can name.

Each Friday we used to have Recitation classes in the morning. My maa'm used to call out names in the attendance order. I used to be somewhere in between. Thanks to my parents for naming me with an alphabet that starts with "P". When my turn used to come, I used to walk upto my maa'm and start. But, I had this very unique way of reciting poems. Guess what was unique????

I used to sway like a pendulum when I used to recite poems. Yes you bet, sway to and fro. Oscillation types....

Well, why would I do that?? I had a very kiddish way of feeling that if i recited my poems swaying along then I would never miss a line. So be it, I never used to skip a line.....
My swaying alas was limited only till Junior school.....
Junior School days, junior thoughts.... Young mind of mine had this very nascent notion....Well, may be someone should give it a try.....

Not really uncommon if you ask me! Most little kids tend to do that
