What's Different?

We have come across many people who are so clam in every situation and that most definitely includes my spouse; and it doesn't stop me from pondering over this calmness. How do they do it? They barely lose their cool, but on the other hand so many of them lose it before anything starts.

Given any situation, they have a calm exterior. The expressions never change, but the mind works furiously. I was reading an article and this is what it said,

"Calm people are like ducks - they are calm on the surface, but they are furiously paddling beneath the surface of the water!"

A statement that made complete sense. Now that's some food for thought!

Gopalaswamy Betta

Himmada Gopalaswamy Betta - this is one of the finest places to visit. On the top sits Lord Krishna, where devotees throng to visit.

After parking the car, one has to line up to get on a bus that will take us up the hills. And boy, that is one drive of a good lifetime. Winding curves, beautiful scenery gets etched in our minds. Once we get on the top, the hill is covered by mist. Himma means Mist in Kannada.

The lord looks so majestic in all his glory, that the effort is worth every bit.

Into the Wilderness

Bandipur - Have been wanting to go for a while and it finally happened a few days back. Bandipur safari was something that I have been waiting to do. So off we went to this place.

Reached by 8:15 A.M. Rushed to get our Safari tickets and got into the bus. As we were the last passengers, the bus started. As we went, we spotted loads of Deer. As we went further, we saw a few pea hens. Not to miss the Mongoose. And, then we spotted a beautiful peacock with its feather open completely. It was a sight so beautiful, that I managed a  far shot.

We went for an hour almost, but we couldn't spot a Tiger or an Elephant in the wild. But still worth a visit, just for the flora and fauna!

IT IS FINALLY HERE

I wanted to watch Game Of Thrones - Season 8 together. But, it so happened that everyone around me started spoiling it. Hence, I got on to start the finale of GOT.

Till now there are five episodes aired and I finally caught up with them. I can proudly say I  am up-to date.

So all you GOT fans, go catch up. There is one last episode to complete this mega epic series.

I do want to start reading the whole series of books once I watch the last episode!
