365th POST - 2019

This is my last post of 2019 and with this I have officially blogged 365 times which means I have posted one blog a day. 

At the beginning of the year, I challenged myself to Post a Blog Everyday in 2019 and I must say I am mighty impressed with myself for winning this challenge!

An Instrument to Learn

I have never been musically inclined, in-spite of learning classical music for 2 years. But I absolutely love music.

This year I decided in 2020 I would venture to learn an instrument. I have a few options, but I choose Veena.

Enjoy what you work or not?

Sometimes it gets really hard to smile and sail through a job that we do not enjoy. Isn't it?

But yet we do it because it pays our bills and put our meals on the table. And we go about it. 

Just imagine if we all had jobs that we enjoyed and truly loved to go wake up each morning to goto. But not all of us get lucky at all times. But if the dissatisfaction creeps in and remains constant, then it is time to wake up and think right. 

Think about it people!

Exercises Lined up for 2020

I have decided that 2020 should be better with respect to Work Out. I have chalked out a plan and here is what I have decided to do,


1. Gym Workout - 3 times a week
2. Yoga - 4 times a week
3. 10,000 Steps - 5 times a week
4. Biking - 2 times a week
5. Practice for 5K and 10K runs and participate in one run in 2020.


This is my plan and I hope that it gets materialized!

A Few Slokas Learnt

Up until this year beginning, I couldn't recite any slokas. But that had to change and I started with the first one - Hanuman Chalisa. 

So I managed to wrap the year with these slokas learnt,

Season of Pinks & Reds

This Christmas season I got and bought a lot of Pinks and Reds. Let me list it out.

Can I ever get enough of Pinks and Reds? Guess Not!!
